Work Hours: 7:00 am – 11:00 pm

Work Days: Monday – Friday with a rotating weekend

Paid Training Hours: Three Weeks

The Bilingual Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing effective customer service for callers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of our client’s workshops and partner programs. This position involves answering various benefit inquiries over the phone.  Individuals in these positions are responsible for ensuring that each caller receives accurate benefit information and world class service.

Position Responsibilities

  • Handle all consumer contacts in an effective and efficient manner through utilization of communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Handles multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously (ability to listen while accessing screens and information, speaking to consumer while processing resolution).  These multiple assignments include speaking with consumers by phone and email resolving issues related to foreclosure, hunger and employment.
  • Educate callers on the services offered by the Foundation and route to the appropriate service delivery channel.
  • Provide technical/help desk assistance to clients and utilize multiple applications
  • Provide verbal and written help desk instructions to help clients navigate through the agency’s many website applications.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems required; call center experience a PLUS
  • Prior experience assisting members and/or providers with telephone inquiries is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of personal computer operations and software packages
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced call center environment
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management focus
  • Must be able to pass a background check
