Online Support Specialist

Position: Online Support Specialist

Work Hours: Shifts between 12:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Work Days: Monday–Friday with every other weekend or every Saturday

Paid Training Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm for two weeks

Status: Full-Time

Five Star Call Centers is looking for applicants who are passionate about customer service and helping others solve problems.  This position is a dedicated position supporting an application-based startup.  This startup is one of the hottest tech companies and is rapidly growing.  If you want to be part of a fun, fast paced project, you are at the right spot.  You will be the first point of contact with customers as they use the app. 

We are looking for people who enjoy helping others to successfully answer inbound telephone calls from customers while providing high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude.

Position Responsibilities

  • Possess the ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the specific client products and services to identify and satisfy customer needs.
  • Possess advanced customer service skills including knowledge of client policies and procedures to maintain a high first-call resolution rate.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Be able to successfully handle customer interactions in multiple systems.
  • Adhere to Five Star Call Centers privacy policies and procedures to ensure each customer’s privacy is protected.
  • Record details of customer interaction accurately and with every contact.
  • Authority to make any wrong situation right; you’re dedicated to ensuring the best experience possible for our customers, whether that’s on the phone, over email, or behind the scenes working with other Customer Heroes.
  • Multi-task. Our Associates thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and don’t break a sweat when having to work at top speeds on the phone and computer simultaneously. You will be expected to come in with a basic knowledge of computer shortcuts, enabling you to solve problems and take ownership of your work.

Job Requirements

  • Customer Service oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Above average computer skills
  • Prior experience with CRMs such as Salesforce ServiceCloud is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and self-sufficient
  • Reliable & hard working
  • Commitment to the project
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
